Equipment rental
There are many things to do during every season at Saariselkä. During summer and fall you can enjoy the frisbee golf track that goes around the hillsides of Kaunispää and many well-marked trails for walking and biking. During winter you can also find numerous ski tracks all around. During winter Saariselkä can also offer you the longest toboggan slope in Finland! Not to forget the many ski slopes and excellent views year-around!
For some of the activity possibilities at Saariselkä you may need some special equipment, but don’t worry! We got you covered! When you make an accommodation reservation with us you can also rent different kinds of equipment via us! It is possible to rent for example different kinds of mountain bikes (electric bikes and normal ones), hiking equipment, fishing equipment, cross-country skis, snowshoes, skates, canoes, kayaks, snowmobiles etc. via us. So you don’t need to own every equipment already to have a perfect holiday at Saariselkä!
We recommend to book many of the equipment beforehand (for example the electric bikes and fat bikes) because of their popularity. But some of the equipment is possible (with good luck of course) to book in a short notice if you don’t get the “inspiration” before arriving.
